pippa-griffithPippa Griffith is a Museum Consultant with extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of museum work, particularly collections management, exhibition work and working with volunteers.

With a degree in History and a Masters degree in Museum Studies, Pippa began her career as a curator at the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum in Bristol. Her remit included preparations for opening the permanent galleries and researching and writing the text for a number of temporary exhibitions, and embraced all aspects of collections management.

Pippa then moved to MLA South West, managing the Accreditation and Designation schemes and working with over two hundred museums in the South West, before becoming Manager/Curator of Athelstan Museum in Malmesbury during the completion of its highly acclaimed refurbishment.

Pippa’s consultancy work includes curatorial and exhibition management as well as continued involvement in the Accreditation scheme.
