Audiovisual Systems Design / Sound Production

Robert Lewis specializes in audiovisual systems design as well as sound and music production. His installations enrich the exhibition experience by telling the story while drawing on aspects of the exhibition’s physical environment.

Robert holds degrees in Recording Arts and Sciences and Music Performance, and has years of experience in sound engineering and audiovisual systems. He has worked for a number of well-respected organisations in the US, most recently as Director of Systems Design and Integration for an award-winning multimedia production firm based in Boston.

Robert has designed and engineered projects for science museums, universities, tour companies, and retail outlets. He approaches each system with both a technical and artistic eye, and enjoys finding ways to translate ideas into something meaningful for visitors.

Robert’s sound engineering abilities include location and studio recording, sound design, editing, and mastering. He has recently worked on projects ranging from recording classical ensembles to creating bespoke sound effects and backdrops for interactive media.
